A kitchen in the district
Our kitchen is at Mookkannoor, in the north of Ernakulam district, so most of the district's wedding halls, churches, temples and auditoriums are a short drive for our team.
A wedding meal is judged on the food, the service and the timing, and we plan all three with you. The menu is put together with your family for the occasion: a full vegetarian sadya on banana leaf, a non-vegetarian spread with biryani and curries, or a mix of the two for different sittings. Our staff bring the serving equipment, serve the meal and clear up the areas we have used before leaving.
Kiriyanthan's is the brand of Food Cafe Caterers, a proprietorship of Joby Johny. We hold FSSAI Licence No. 11319007001124 and are registered for GST (GSTIN 32APFPJ3319B1ZL), so every invoice you receive is a proper GST tax invoice in our name.
Where we cater
Angamaly is our nearest town and the area we reach most quickly. We cater church weddings and receptions in and around Angamaly, from parish halls to private auditoriums, and for families whose guests arrive from the airport side of the district.
For weddings in Aluva we plan the set-up and service times around the ceremony so that the meal is ready when the guests sit down. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian menus are both available.
We serve weddings and receptions in Perumbavoor and the surrounding panchayats. For a large guest list we plan the sittings and service with you in advance so that everyone is fed in good time.
For temple weddings and traditional vegetarian functions in Kalady we serve a sadya on banana leaf, with vegetarian-only kitchen handling on request. See our sadya catering page for how we serve it.
We also cater elsewhere in Ernakulam and Thrissur districts, including Koratty and Chalakudy. Any travel charge is written into your quotation before you book.
We agree the menu and a per-plate rate with you in writing; rates are on request. An advance of ₹15,000, including GST, confirms your date, and the balance is due at least 7 days before the wedding, once you confirm the final guest count. All of it. We are based at Mookkannoor and cater most often around Angamaly, Aluva, Perumbavoor and Kalady, but we serve weddings anywhere in Ernakulam and Thrissur districts. Tell us the venue and we will confirm.
Yes. Many weddings have a vegetarian sadya for one sitting and a non-vegetarian menu for another; others are fully vegetarian, with vegetarian-only kitchen handling on request. See sadya catering.
Rates are per plate and quoted on request, because they depend on the menu and the number of guests. GST at 5% is added on the invoice. Your written quotation states the per-plate rate before you pay anything.
As early as you can once the date and venue are fixed, especially for peak wedding months. A booking is confirmed only when the advance of ₹15,000 (including GST) is received.
